RoundTable Healthcare Partners Affiliate Vanguard Medical Concepts, Inc. acquires Medical Instruments Technology, Inc.
Device reprocessor broadens product portfolio, adds leading orthopedic sharpening technology
Lake Forest, Ill., June 20, 2002 —RoundTable Healthcare Partners (RoundTable) announced today that Vanguard Medical Concepts, Inc. (Vanguard) has acquired the assets of Medical Instruments Technology, Inc. (MIT), a Utah-based medical device reprocessor. Vanguard is the nation’s leading disposable medical device reprocessor and a portfolio company of RoundTable. The acquisition adds cardiac retractors and stabilizers, trocars, curved arthroscopic shavers and coated orthopedic blades to Vanguard’s reprocessing service portfolio.
